Amity is an innovative vending machine designed to deepen and spark connections by providing personalized messages for users. The process is simple: reflect on your relationship, leave a personalized message, and pass it on. Each message is wiped clean once printed, creating a unique, one-time gift. Developed as part of Stanford’s Product Design Capstone, this project addressed the loss of campus community due to the pandemic, offering a creative solution to reconnect individuals.

AMITY AT WORK
Marketing
During our mid-point campaign, we designed an interactive poster where red lens glasses reveal a secret message, introducing our brand as fun, interactive, and surprising.
Outcomes
The Amity Project allowed our team to incorporate the methodology and skills we gained from the Product Design major while also implementing a product that has the potential to make a positive impact on our own community.
The Amity Machine is an ongoing installation in Stanford's d.School Studio 2
